The Millhouse, our venue of the month September, is a stunning fifteen bedroom Georgian Manor House on the banks of the Boyne in Slane, Co Meath. Just 40 minutes from Dublin, the exclusive venue allows complete privacy for your wedding day. The Millhouse is a charming setting for your wedding, a romantic haven in a wonderful garden and river setting where couples can really make it their own exclusive country house for the day.
A combination of old world charm and contemporary design creates a very unique luxury wedding venue. From a gourmet barbecue in the orchard and to an elegant four course meal in the pavilion, The Millhouse will exceed your expectations with an extensive menu selection to suit every style and budget.
Imagine a beautiful candlelit pathway through the orchard with fairy lights twinkling in the distance leading to the magnificent Grand Pavilion in the courtyard. On a summers day you and your guests can enjoy the romantic surroundings from our orchard, courtyard or our newly built orangery.
The Pavilion is available for exclusive hire for your wedding day and they specialise in bespoke original weddings offering a truly magical setting for your wedding day. The Pavilion can host up to 150 people which lies in a beautiful sun trapped courtyard overlooking the orchard and river. The entire front of the Pavilion opens up for sunny summer days. Larger weddings of up to 240 people can be catered for with an additional marquee attached to the pavilion.
We have a wonderful ceremony room situated in the Old Mill with original brick work, chandeliers and rustic charm. Blessings and ceremonies can also take place in our blossom filled orchard overlooking the river.
