Having attended a wedding at The Millhouse in Slane a few years ago, I was delighted to be returning as the wedding photographer this May. As I was familiar with the venue I knew there’d be plenty of beautiful places to take pictures.
When I met Ireine and Steve for the first time I was certain this wedding was going to be a bit special. They are two beautiful people and it would have been hard not to strike up a friendship straight away. They were both so relaxed and were just looking forward to partying with their friends and family. As a wedding photographer this makes the day so easy and enjoyable.
Ireine and Steve were looking for something a little bit different for their wedding so The Millhouse in Slane was the perfect venue. The staff at The Millhouse are always so helpful and great to work with. Each room in the house has a unique and quirky style. The ceremony room is amazing and the fact that everything takes place in one venue takes the stress out of the day.
Ireine and Steve both got the day they deserved. The day was filled with every emotion and they both partied hard into the night. Ireine looked absolutely stunning in her dress from The Wedding Company Plymouth. As for the flowers! They were an amazing spray of wild flowers by Sheefin Flowers which complimented the beautiful, boho style of the wedding.
As a wedding photographer it was a privilege to be involved in this beautiful day. Many thanks to Steve and Ireine for making me feel so welcome. What a wonderful future they have together!
