LOUISE & MARK, THE MILLHOUSE SLANE

As Louise’s dad said himself, Mark would climb any heights for Louise! And he did by proposing to her on top of one!

They chose to have a Christmas time wedding at the stunning Millhouse in Slane. Louise got ready at her parents home near Malahide Estuary. The morning was full of fun and activity with her two friends both called  Dee as bridesmaids. We loved Louise’s dress which was in two sections, a top and skirt! Then the two Dee’s wore burgundy dresses. After the ceremony, we stopped by the Malahide Estuary for a few photos since Louise told me she used to go crab fishing there as a child. The sky and water looked stunning in the cold winter sunlight. We then headed off to capture the last of the light at Millhouse Slane. It is such a unique venue with lots of quirky backdrops for photographs. With it being so cold and Louise’s midriff on show!, we went inside into the old mill for some indoor photos too. With the ice and glittery high heels, we couldn’t climb to the top of the scaffolding outside but got a few photos on the lower levels. Then, we headed into the warmth of the main house.
